A Mobile man died Saturday in Mississippi in an apparent drowning.
George County (Miss.) Sheriff Mitchell Mixon said the body of Jose Garcia, 18, of Mobile, was found after a search.
Deputies were called Saturday at about 4:14 p.m. to the area of the Escatawpa River Bridge on Highway 612 in reference to a possible drowning.
Rescue Divers from George County Search and Rescue Dive Team were able to locate Garcia after a search of the waterway was conducted.
George County First Responders, Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks, George County Emergency Management, and ASAP Ambulance Services assisted.
