The Atlantic Hotel in downtown Savannah will be the site of the third annual Savannah Carnaval, a fundraiser for Richmond Hill's SD Gunner Fund.

The Saturday, July 31 event includes live music by 10-piece Afro Cuban Orchestra, LPT Band, dancing with Savannah Mambo, Capoeira, culinary tastings, a live auction with hand picked curated experiences all while supporting the mission of the SD Gunner Fund.

It begins at 6:30 p.m. and lasts until 11 p.m. at the hotel, 400 W. River St.

Guest of honor, Richard Kessler will be presented with a Legacy Award for his "remarkable contribution to philanthropy in our community."

The SD Gunner Fund has proudly served veterans, exceptional children and first responders, while inspiring disability awareness through public education and advocacy. They are best known for their Service Dog training and recipient matching program. This program has changed the lives of over 33,000 area children and veterans over the last 7 years.

Savannah Carnaval is the local organization's largest and most vital fundraising event of the year. The goal of the 2021 festivities will be to fully fund a service dog for a triple amputee local veteran as well as ensure that no child of a veteran or first responder in need goes without during the holiday season.

Tickets are available at www.sdgunner.org

Single ticket: $100.

Couple ticket: $175.

Tickets include all entertainment, culinary tastings and two tickets for beer, signature cocktail, wine or soda.
