MOSCOW. – The servicemen of the Military Police unit of the Russian peacekeeping contingent have safely escorted Azerbaijani convoys through Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh), reported the press service of the Russian Defense Ministry.
The Russian Military Police unit accompanied two Azerbaijani convoys of 40 vehicles—carrying construction equipment, materials, and food—on the Shushi-Karmir Shuka-Kajar route and back.
Last month, Russian peacekeepers secured the safe passage of 78 Azerbaijani motorcades through the Lachin corridor, as well as the Shushi-Karmir Shuka-Kajar and Mataghis-Getavan-Vank routes and back.
