NO THREAT TO ETH PUBLIC. THEY SAY NO OFFICERS WERE INJURED DURING THE INCIDENT. MANCHESTER POLICE ARE LOOKING FOR A COUPLE WHO ALLEGEDLY RIPPED JEWELRY OFF A WOMAN'S NECK. THIS INVESTIGATORS SAY IT HAPPENED LAST WEEK ON FREDERICK STREET. THEY SAY THE ALLEGED THIEF WENT TO THE WOMAN'S DOOR OFFERING TO SELL ITEMS AND THEN ASKED FOR A HUG. Manchester Police are searching for a couple who allegedly stole a $9,000 necklace from a woman on Frederick St.The alleged theft happened at about 12:20 p.m. on Nov. 26.Investigators say one of the suspects went to a woman's door and offered to sell her items. When the woman refused, the suspect asked for a hug, which was also turned down.Police say the suspect then leaned in, ripped off the necklace, and got into a black SUV with the second suspect.According to authorities, the woman they believe snatched the necklace was Alexandra Miclescu, and the driver is believed to be Danunt Miclescu. Alexandra is wanted on a robbery charge and Danunt is wanted on a charge of criminal liability to robbery.Police said their city of residence is unknown, but believe they are driving a Chevy Tahoe with New Hampshire plates or a black Ford SUV with Texas plates.The necklace is described to be a 24-karat gold with a dragon pennant and tubes on the chain.Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Alexandra or Danunt should call Manchester Police at 603-668-8711. Police added an award is being offered for information leading to their arrest.
