The 47th Fiji Bitter Marist 7s came to an electrifying end last night as two top-notch teams battled it out for the ultimate prize.

The Police Blue side went up against the Fiji 1 team.

The Police Blue beat the Fiji 1 team 15-5 in a nailbiting clash.

The final day proved to be a tough day for both teams, but they put on a great show in the final.

The Fiji 1 team had to dig deep and pull out all the stops to make it to the finals.

They edged the Lavidi Brothers 21-7 in the Cup quarters before facing a fierce challenge from Wardens in the semis.

But the side proved their mettle, winning 15-14 in a nail-biting finish.

Police Blue, on the other hand, beat Army Green 14-0 in their Cup quarterfinal match before hammering Duibana 24-5 in the semis.

Livai Ikanikoda and Teri Tamani had been instrumental in marshaling their troops to victory right through to the final.

The final was intense, with both teams playing their hearts out.

But in the end, it was the Police Blue that emerged victorious, clinching the top prize in front of a roaring crowd.
