Police identify 2 males shot, killed late Monday night in 3400 block of Harrison

UPDATE, 4:10 p.m. | Police have identified the male victims as Jumah Mubarak, 72, and Leander Wooden, Jr., 33.

A police spokesperson said detectives continue to investigate and ask the public to share any information about the incident.

ORIGINAL REPORT | Kansas City, Missouri, police are investigating a shooting that happened just after 11 p.m. Tuesday.

Police said they were called to the 3400 block of Harrison on a sound of shots call.

Officers found two adult men unresponsive on the street.

Emergency medical responders transported the victims to the hospital, where they both were declared dead.

There is no suspect information at this time, and detectives are working to determine what led to the shooting.
