Sustainable Parenting Workshops, Wednesday, Apr 9, 12-1PMBelgrade Community Library is hosting Sustainable Parenting Workshops with Flora McCormick, LCPC, aimed at parents of children ages 2-12. Youth activities will be provided during the workshop, so please RSVP at belgradelibrary.org/adults.

First Aid Class, Thursday, Apr 10, 6-8PMWould YOU know what to do if someone has a medical emergency? Learn the basics for the most common first aid emergencies, including how to recognize them, how to call for help, and how to perform life-saving skills. Sign-up for First Aid Class is required. Fire Station Tours at CVFD#1, Friday, Apr 11, 3-3:45PMFor Adults, Teens, and Kids: See firetrucks up close and learn about firefighting, safety, and life as a firefighter! Garden Party, Saturday, Apr 12 from 10AM-2PMOur Seed Library is opening on Saturday, April 12 at 10AM! We have more seeds then ever before, thanks to many generous donations! We will open our seed library in the Community Rooms, and have a Plant Swap tables. Preventing Chronic Health Conditions Through Activity-Friendly Community Design, Thursday, Apr 17, from 6-7:30PMThis presentation, in collaboration with OLLI with MSU, will explore how the design of our towns and neighborhoods can help community members stay healthy. As Gallatin County grows, creating places where people can walk, bike and obtain healthy food is important. Ms. MacFarlane, a research associate at Montana State University’s Western Transportation Institute (WTI), will provide an overview of relevant local health statistics, prevention efforts and work that WTI and other community partners do to promote a healthier transportation system. Free Professional Headshots, Saturday, Apr 19, 11AM-1PMBelgrade Community Library is hosting FREE professional photographs at the library on April 19 from 11AM-1PM Tona O’Donnell Photography will be taking professional portraits to use for your resumes, emails, Facebook, LinkedIn and more! Attendees will receive one portrait via email. Please note: This is not intended for family photos or portraits — strictly for professional looking headshots that can be used in a working capacity.

“Teenguenuity” STEAM Workshop, 3D Print Pens, Tuesday, Apr 22, 4-6PMWant to learn how to use a 3D print pen? Well, now you can! Select from the vast collection of our colorful filaments and turn them into works of art. Miss Rebecca will show you how to properly heat up the pen, load the filament, and control the flow. We will also provide templates to help you practice and maybe generate some ideas in the process. Make a dinosaur, a mini bowling set, a doll, or anything you can (appropriately) conceive! The 4th Thursday of the Month Book Club meets on the fourth Thursday of each month at 6:30PM. It is open to adults of all ages, and new members are always welcome. April’s book is Happy All The Time by Stanley Laurie Colwint Please note the April location: City Hall Courtroom.

Get Up & Move, Tuesdays, begins at 10:15AM (and 11AM for Zumba weeks)This is our preschool exercise program! Sessions are designed for children ages 2-6, but younger children may attend if they are able to follow simple instructions and complete basic motor and balance tasks. Sessions include exercise like kids’ yoga, Zumba® Kids, Jr, or tap/jazz/ballet taught by a trained ballet dancer! Siblings of all ages welcome. Babies & Books, Thursdays, 10:15-11AMBabies & Books is our story time for — you guessed it — babies (and their grown-ups)! This story time is designed specifically for ages 0-3 years old along with their caregivers, and includes, songs, rhymes and short stories, ending with time for open play and socialization. Siblings of all ages welcome.

Preschool Storytime, Fridays, 10:15-11AMPreschool Storytime is geared to children ages 3-6, featuring songs, rhymes, and stories with slightly more complex structure. This is followed up by a related craft or activity. Siblings of all ages welcome. This program takes place in our Community Room, unless otherwise noted.
