149 combat engagements recorded on frontline in past day, mostly in Pokrovsk and Lyman sectors

According to Ukrinform, this is stated in a Facebook post by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the situation as of 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 10.

Yesterday, the Russians launched 94 air strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements, including 162 guided bombs.

In addition, the enemy carried out more than 6,300 attacks, including 96 from multiple launch rocket systems, and used 2,868 kamikaze drones to attack.

The Russian army carried out air strikes, in particular in the areas of Petrushivka, Maryine, Turia, Mala Rybytsia, Velykyi Prykil, Krasnopillia, Samotoivka, Myropilske, Ugroids in Sumy region; Huliaypole in Zaporizhzhia region.

Over the past day, the aviation, missile forces and artillery of the Defense Forces hit 11 areas of concentration of personnel and equipment, an air defense system and two cannons of the Russian invaders.

In the Kharkiv sector, Ukrainian troops repelled five enemy attacks in the areas of Vovchansk, Hlyboke, Kamianka, and Figolivka.

Two Russian attacks took place in the Kupiansk sector. Defense forces repelled enemy assaults near Zahryzove and Nova Kruhlyakivka.

In the Lyman sector, Russian troops attacked 27 times, trying to advance near Nadiya, Katerynivka, Myrne, Serhiyivka, Novyi, Kolodiaziv, Yampolivka and in the directions of Zelena Dolyna, Hrekivka and Novomykhailivka.

In the Siversk sector, the Russian army conducted 10 attacks in the areas of Bilohorivka, Hryhorivka and Verkhnekamianske. All attacks were repelled.

In the Kramatorsk sector, two firefights were registered in the vicinity of Chasiv Yar.

In the Toretsk sector, the enemy carried out 20 attacks near Toretsk, Druzhba, Dachne, Leonidivka and Shcherbynivka.

In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian troops stopped 40 Russian offensives in the areas of Kalynove, Shevchenko, Troitske, Preobrazhenka, Uspenivka, Novooleksandrivka, Udachne, Vodiane Druhe, Zelene Pole, Yelizavetivka, Andriivka, Lysivka, Kotlyne, Kotliarivka and Bohdanivka.

In the Novopavlivka sector, the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled six hostile attacks in the vicinity of Bahatyry and near Kostiantynopil and Rozlyv.

In the Huliaypole sector, Russian troops made five unsuccessful attempts to advance in the area of Novosilka and in the direction of Shevchenko.

In the Orikhiv sector, Ukrainian troops successfully repelled nine enemy attacks in the areas of Stepove, Mali Shcherbaky, Lobkove and Shcherbaky.

In the operational zone in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation, Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 19 Russian attacks. The invaders launched 46 air strikes using 82 guided bombs, and also fired 410 artillery shells at the positions of our troops and settlements, including eight from multiple launch rocket systems.

The enemy did not conduct any offensive actions in the Prydniprovskyi sector.

There were no signs of the formation of Russian offensive groups in the Volyn and Polissia directions.

As Ukrinform reported, the total combat losses of Russian troops from February 24, 2022 to April 10, 2025 in the war against Ukraine amounted to about 929,000 people, including 1,420 people in the previous day.
