Police in Bentonville, Arkansas, are looking to identify a delivery driver who was caught on camera on April 5 stealing a K9 tribute statue from the entrance to the sheriff’s office. The Benton County Sheriff’s Office said that “in an unexpected twist straight out of a Paw & Order episode” their “beloved Officer Down Memorial K9 statue” was “door-dashed by a delivery driver named Hector.” “Without permission, Hector helped himself to the statue sitting proudly in front of the Sheriff’s Office. Yep… right outside our law enforcement building. Caught on camera. We couldn’t believe it either. Bold move, sir,” they wrote. “And Hector—if you’re seeing this—bring our pup back home where he belongs. He’s not a tip. He’s not decor. He’s a tribute.” “Can you identify this suspect before DoorDash does?” the sheriff’s office asked. Credit: Benton County Sheriff’s Office via Storyful
