According to a statement from the Anoka County Sheriff’s Office, the victim is Hulda Bochere Mosiori, a mental health nurse practitioner and entrepreneur.

When was Huldah Mosiori killed?

Authorities explained that the 42-year-old mother of four was fatally shot on the morning of Tuesday, April 22, 2025.

Mosiori was murdered by Mel Melchizedek, a 51-year-old man of unknown address, believed to be her former partner and the father of at least one of her children.

Officers were dispatched to the 15200 block of Snowy Owl Street NW at approximately 8.33 am following a report of a man with a firearm who had confronted a neighbour.

The suspect, a Sierra Leonean by descent, then returned to a nearby residence.

How many people died in Huldah Mosiori's house?

When law enforcement gained entry to the home, they discovered the bodies of both Mosiori and Melchizedek, both deceased from apparent gunshot wounds.

Before his death, the man identified only as B.K. had awakened his roommates and instructed them on how to avoid suffocation during the fire.

Details indicate that while civil defence teams rescued his roommates, B.K. was missing and was later found dead after attempting to escape the fire using a maintenance cable.
