Large rescue teams and an air ambulance were called to an incident at a popular beauty spot last night.
Pictures show several members of what looks to be a Mountain Rescue team at Roseberry Topping at around 8pm last night (Sunday, April 27).

A number of emergency vehicles can be seen at the entrance to the popular hiking route, with two ambulances and five police vehicles pictured at the site.
It is currently not known what the incident was.

Great North Air Ambulance and Cleveland Mountain Rescue team have been contacted for more information on the incident.
