TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - The health and wellness of first responders is the focus of an event this week in Tucson.

The Tucson Fire Department is co-hosting the Southern Arizona First Responder Wellness Day on Wednesday, April 30.

The event will include first responders from all branches, including local, federal, and military.

The focus will be enhancing the mental, physical, and emotional health of those who serve the community.

Tucson Fire’s Safety and Wellness Captain Tyler Brandt and Michelle Pickrom from Tucson Police joined 13 News’ Devyn Shea on Tucson Now to talk about it.
