Driver gets lost on way to hospital for possible heart attack: Russell Township Police Blotter

RUSSELL TOWNSHIP, Ohio

Suspicious vehicle: Chillicothe Road

From a report filed at 4:27 a.m. April 24, a man possibly having a heart attack got lost while driving himself to Hillcrest Hospital.

An officer found him in his car in the police station parking lot seeking directions.

Russell Township EMS arrived and transported him to the hospital.

Suspicious: Thornapple Drive

A man called police April 25 after he saw a drone flying around his neighborhood. He saw it in the distance from outside his window.

Officers checked the area but did not see it.

Animal at large: Fairmount Road

Two loose dogs ran around a woman’s back yard and killed a pair of chickens, prompting her to call police at 12:32 p.m. April 16.

She said her neighbor captured the dogs and was holding them in a kennel.

Police contacted the dog warden to retrieve the dogs. He advised that he would cite the dog owner for having the dogs at large.
