Juvenile complaint: South Point Drive
On April 29, police received multiple complaints about juveniles at a party.
Officers had responded earlier in the evening and, after receiving a second complaint, responded again.
Criminal damaging: South Point Drive
On April 24, an officer was dispatched on a criminal damaging report in which windows were damaged.
Disturbance: South Point Drive
On April 27, multiple people were causing a disturbance in a continuation of an encounter that had happened occurred in Westlake earlier in the evening.
Fraud: Linsberry Court
On April 24, a resident reported a scam involving $2,000 worth of gift cards.
Theft: Hidden Cove
A victim reported being scammed out of $50 while trying to buy something on Facebook.
Failure to comply: Electric Boulevard
On April 27, a man operating a motorized bicycle was observed speeding on Miller Road.
The officer attempted to conduct a traffic stop, but the man fled. He was later located and arrested.
Drug arrest: Lake Road
A driver was stopped for driving under suspension on April 29.
Suspected narcotics and drug paraphernalia were located during an inventory of the vehicle.
The suspect was booked and transported to the Lorain County Jail.
Warrant service: Walker Road
On April 22, Maple Heights police notified Avon Lake police that they had in custody a man with an active warrant through Avon Lake Municipal Court.
The man was picked up, booked at the Avon Lake Jail, then transported to the Lorain County Jail.
Warrant arrest: Shelly Court
On April 23, a juvenile was taken into custody at his residence for an outstanding warrant through the Lorain County Juvenile Court.
