Tukwila, WA police investigate shooting at Southcenter Mall

Tukwila police are investigating a shooting that happened at Southcenter Mall on Wednesday afternoon.

What we know:

According to police, officers responded to reports of shots fired near the BJ's Restaruarnt around 6 p.m., on the south side of the mall.

Officers said they determined that an individual was shooting at a person who was running away. Glass doors and windows near the mall entrance were visibly shattered.

Police quickly secured the scene. They say this incident doesn’t appear to be a random act of violence.

No injuries were reported in the shooting.

All people involved fled the scene following the shooting. There is no word on arrests at this time.
