Boulder City firefighters respond to fire in solar field along I-11

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) - Boulder City firefighters responded to a solar field fire south of the valley Thursday afternoon.
Boulder City Fire and Henderson Fire responded to a solar field along I-11 at mile marker 50 around 4:17 p.m.
Fire officials tell FOX5 the fire sparked in an electrical inverter attached to the field. It is currently unclear if any solar panels were affected.
Firefighters are expected to remain in the area for further investigation.
