Man arrested and accused of weapon threats at home, University of Missouri parking lot

A man was arrested on Thursday after allegedly making threats with a weapon.

The Columbia Police Department (CPD) responded to a disturbance in the 3000 block of South Providence Road at 6:30 p.m.

According to a press release, the victim claimed that Ramelus D. Bradley Jr., 19, of Columbia, assaulted and threatened them with a weapon.

They stated he had assaulted them in their home and at a University of Missouri parking lot.

Officers noted that Bradley was reportedly inside the victim's residence with their 2-year-old child.

Police safely removed the child from the home, but it was later discovered that Bradley was no longer inside.

Later, CPD and the University of Missouri Police found the suspect in the 2500 block of Quail Drive in northern Columbia.

He was taken into custody and faces pending charges for two counts of Fourth-Degree Domestic Assault.

University Police also charged Bradley with Second-Degree Domestic Assault, Unlawful Use of a Weapon and Armed Criminal Action.

He was booked into the Boone County Jail without bond.
