Along with a Grant County Sheriff’s Deputy, the trooper was able to safely take the driver, 29-year-old Adan Osman Abdi, into custody, along with the female passenger, 26-year-old Trayviana Shoulders. The two children, ages two and three, associated with the Amber Alert were located inside the vehicle and placed in protective custody.
Abdi was charged with Felony Eluding and Taking a Motor Vehicle without Permission 2 nd degree. Shoulders was charged with a court order violation with other pending charges out of Oregon.
WSP would like to acknowledge the allied agencies, the Grant County Sheriff’s Office and the Moses Lake Police Department, for their assistance in the swift and safe apprehension of these two suspects and the rescue of the two children.
