At 1.30pm on Sunday, a chimney fire on Rue de l'Usine in Esch-sur-Alzette prompted a response from the fire brigade, resulting in the closure of several nearby streets.

The police reported that several streets in Esch-sur-Alzette had to be closed following a fire that broke out around 1.30pm. The affected areas included Rue de l'Usine, Rue Michel Rodange, and Rue Clair-Chêne.

Emergency services at the scene identified the source of the fire as a chimney blaze, according to the latest update from the authorities.

Around 4pm, the intervention was finalised and streets were reopened, with authorities reporting no injuries.
