CC Cattle Company takes fight to end hunger on the road
COLUMBIA COUNTY, Wis. (WMTV) - CC Cattle Company is taking their fight to end food insecurity on the road by launching a food truck.
The organization raises environmentally friendly beef on pasture and then donates 100% of that beef to food pantries and soup kitchens throughout Madison and Milwaukee.
CC Cattle Co. also offers an equine therapy program to help wounded veterans and first responders who struggle with PTSD.
The nonprofit’s most recent venture is the launch of its food truck to bring hot meals directly to underserved communities.
Sam Cooke, Founder of CC Cattle Co. explains “not everyone can reach a pantry so we’re bringing the food to them.”
Before the food truck hits the road and begins to serve Wisconsin, it needs some updates. People can donate to CC Cattle Co. to help their renovation process.
