Former Arkansas police chief called "Devil in the Ozarks" escapes from prison
Grant Hardin, known as "Devil in the Ozarks," who briefly served as police chief for the small town of Gateway, near the Arkansas-Missouri border, was serving a decadeslong sentence for murder and rape.
