Italian hiker rescued after fall in Crete gorge

Fire service rescuers saved a 62-year-old Italian woman who fell while hiking Thursday in the Topolia Gorge in the municipality of Kissamos.

The woman injured her right leg but is in stable condition.

Five rescuers using two vehicles located her and transferred her to ambulance crews.

She was hospitalized for medical treatment.
