A bloke was left battling for his life after a python bit him on the privates while he was using the loo, causing severe blood loss.

Thai man Atthaporn Boonmakchuay, 38, was ambushed by the massive snake in the bathroom of his home in Chachoengsao province, east of Bangkok. Reports suggest that he felt a sudden sharp pain and reached down, only to discover the python's jaws clamped onto his manhood.

In a state of panic, Atthaporn shouted for his wife and wrestled to free himself from the 11-foot beast. Before passing out, he managed to tie a rope around the snake's head and secure it to the bathroom door to stop it from slithering away.

Emergency services were quick on the scene and rushed him to hospital, where he received treatment for significant blood loss.

Video footage from the scene shows rescue teams working to remove the python from the toilet's plumbing, even resorting to hammers to dismantle parts of the system. The snake was eventually captured, bagged securely, and later released back into the wild, according to local news outlet Bangpakong News, reports the Mirror.

Officials reckon the python made its way into the house by swimming up through the pipes.

Meanwhile, a woman in Thailand had her own hair-raising encounter with a 14-foot python that emerged from her toilet while she was using it.

Nareerat Sri-nhampong, 38, managed to jump off the loo just in time after spotting the enormous snake, narrowly avoiding injury.

The episode unfolded in Chonburi, where local rescue volunteers were summoned to the scene. To track down and seize the enormous python, they had to disassemble sections of the woman's bathroom.

The operation spanned over an hour, with the team utilising hammers to shatter floor tiles, eventually unearthing the snake concealed in a cavity beneath the floor.

Once retrieved, the python was found to weigh approximately 20 kilograms and stretched over four meters in length.

Intriguingly, Nareerat informed local press that this wasn't her initial encounter with the snake - she suspects it was the same python that bit her on the heel three months prior while she was using the loo.
