Man rushed to hospital with serious injuries after stabbing
Enquiries into the incident are still ongoing, police said
A man has been rushed to hospital with serious injuries after reports of a stabbing.
High Street in the Lees area of Oldham was closed on Sunday, June 1, as Greater Manchester Police (GMP) guarded the cordon.
It came after police were called to reports of a stabbing at a home on the street at around 9pm on Sunday.
Emergency services rushed a man to the hospital. Enquiries remain ongoing about the incident, police confirmed today (June 2).
Greater Manchester Police said: "At around 9pm on Sunday 1 June we were called to reports of a stabbing at an address on High Street in Lees, Oldham.
"Emergency services attended and a man was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
"Enquiries are ongoing."
