ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — Ithaca has a new superintendent of public works.
On June 4, city lawmakers appointed Adam Potter. The Cornell graduate has over 20 years of engineering experience.
“I was raised in a family that maintained apartment buildings and ran an ironworks business in New York City, and my life has been shaped by maintenance, construction, engineering, and, above all, a commitment to serving people,” Potter said.

Ithaca City Manager Deb Mohlenhoff said city staff is “excited” to have Potter on board. He’ll begin working on July 7.
