Teams of officers have descended upon an address in Meir, with an eyewitness reporting one man was pulled out in the raid. Around '10 police cars' surrounded the property on Normacot Grange Road this afternoon (June 14).
The aim of the force's high-profile operation remains unknown.
A StokeonTrentLive reader said: "There must have been at least 20 police officers present. There was a male on his knees being detained as the rest of the officers went inside the house. The police cars all swarmed around the house with their sirens on. Something big must be going on."
StokeonTrentLive has approached Staffordshire Police for a statement.
