THE FIRE STARTED NEAR CLEVELAND AVENUE AND AMERICA AVENUE AROUND SIX TONIGHT, CREATING INTENSE FLAMES. TAKE A LOOK ALL THE WAY. YOU SEE THAT THICK BLACK SMOKE? THAT FIRE WAS VERY INTENSE. KCRA THREE VIEWER SHARED THIS VIDEO. FROM THAT SCENE, YOU CAN SEE JUST HOW DANGEROUS IT WAS. ONE HOME AND TWO MOBILE HOMES WERE BURNED, DISPLACING FIVE PEOPLE, INCLUDING A CHILD.

It happened on Cleveland Avenue around 6 p.m.
Crews were called to the scene of a residential structure fire with two nearby mobile homes on fire.
Upon entry into the structures, crews found three dead dogs and two burned dogs, the department said.
The residents, four adults and one child, were displaced from the three structures. No one reported any injuries.
The cause of the fire is currently unknown.
