COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — Police are still searching for leads in the death of 16-year-old Olivia Kurtz, who was shot at Bicentennial Park in 2021.
Kurtz was among hundreds of people who gathered for a late-night party when shots rang out.
Five other people were injured in the shooting.
Despite the FBI joining the investigation and offering a $25,000 reward, no significant progress has been made in the case.
“Somebody has to know something," Columbus Police Det. Delbert Chapman said in 2023. "You can’t have 200-300 people around and nobody not see anything. Someone has to have seen something.”
Kurtz was a 10th grader at Fort Hayes Metropolitan Education Center, where she was an honors student.
