New Hampshire man accused of setting 3 fires in Vermont

BRATTLEBORO, Vt. (WCAX) - Police in Brattleboro arrested a man who they say set three fires early Tuesday morning.

Fire and police crews were called to a blaze at the Burton Car Wash on Putney Road shortly before 1 a.m.

While they were responding, another fire was reported nearby.

Police say they ultimately found three separate fires in the area.

Officers found Darren Bolio, 47, a homeless man from New Hampshire, nearby. They detained him and later arrested him for arson.

He was held on bail and is expected to be arraigned later on Tuesday.
