BANGUI, June 25 (Xinhua) -- A fire broke out on Wednesday in a classroom at Barthelemy Boganda high school in Bangui, the capital of the Central African Republic (CAR), during the baccalaureate exams, according to local sources.
Firefighters, police, and rescue teams arrived quickly at the scene. Initial reports indicate that several people were injured, some in critical condition, but the number of casualties remains uncertain.
An investigation into the cause of the accident is underway. ■
