Officials say a body recovered from the Delaware River is believed to be that of a 24-year-old Trenton man who went missing while swimming on Tuesday evening.

The body was recovered from the river on Wednesday evening by the Yardley-Makefield Fire Company in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, said Lawrence Hajna, a New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection spokesperson.

The identity of the person is pending confirmation by the Bucks County Coroner’s Office, Hajna said.
