Former Carlisle United loan man Elliot Watt will face the Blues in pre-season after signing for Motherwell.
The midfielder has left Burton Albion in order to join the Scottish Premiership side on a two-year deal.
And he will soon come up against Carlisle when the Blues head to Fir Park for a behind-closed-doors friendly on Tuesday, July 8.
Watt was on loan at Brunton Park from Wolverhampton Wanderers in the 2019/20 season.
The 25-year-old midfielder has since played for Bradford City, Salford City, Burton and St Johnstone.
Motherwell have expressed their delight at Watt's arrival, with new boss Jens Berthel Askou telling the club website: "In Elliot we’ve found a hungry, talented and determined young man who already has plenty of experience in the senior game.
“He has recently had a taste of the Scottish Premiership.
