Man killed, two others injured after car struck electrical pole in El Dorado
EL DORADO, Kan. (KWCH) - One man was killed and two others were injured after a car crashed into an electrical pole on Saturday in El Dorado.
The El Dorado Police Department and Butler County Sheriff’s Office were called to the intersection of Taylor St. and Locust Ave. for a report of an injury accident.
Only one vehicle was involved in the accident. Three people were inside the vehicle when it struck an electrical pole.
A 61-year-old man, who was a passenger, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver, a 53-year-old woman, had to be extracted from the vehicle by the Butler County Rescue Squad. She was taken to the hospital in critical condition. Another passenger, a 40-year-old man was also taken to the hospital.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
