Rifle, 49 rounds of ammunition seized in St Andrew

The police on Monday seized a Bushmaster XM-15 rifle and 49 rounds of ammunition following an operation on August Town Road in St Andrew.
Reports from the Half-Way-Tree police are that about 6:58 a.m., the police team carried out a search of a premises where the firearm and ammunition were found on the roof.
No one was arrested in connection to the find.
The investigation continues.
