Spain’s attack has been almost unstoppable. Through three matches, La Roja scored 14 goals, the most among any team, easily winning Group B. For a team that has struggled over the years at the Euro, a strong opening stage is optimistic for a deep run.
The Spanish team has fallen out of the quarterfinals in each of the past three tournaments.
Switzerland has never made it to the knockout stage in its history at the Euros, though this is just the third time the nation has ever appeared in the tournament. The Swiss managed to squeak out enough goals, using a win over Iceland and a draw against Finland to secure a spot in the quarterfinals. Now, they get set for their toughest test of the Euros.
