Train derailment spills hazardous materials in Illinois, injuring two and closing multiple roads

ILLINOIS (WFIE) - Multiple roads were blocked and two were injured in Illinois after a trail derailment spilled hazardous materials.
The train derailment happened on E 170 road near the cities of Browns and Bellmont.
According to an official with Browns Fire Department, first responders believe Sulphur and other chemicals are leaking into the air.

They say hazmat crews have been seen entering the area.
Our crew at the scene says they could see white smoke coming from the area of the derailment.
Numerous main roads nearby have been blocked by officials and evacuation have been put into place near the site.
The mayor of Bellmont says two employees of the train company have been sent to the hospital with injuries.
Clean up is now underway.
