Sally Lindsay's cosy crime drama The Madame Blanc Mysteries has confirmed a return for later in 2025.
The show, which former Coronation Street star Lindsay co-created and had her husband Steve White compose the theme for, has so far aired four seasons and three Christmas specials since it began in 2021.
And this year won't buck the trend of following up a season with a festive special, as a new Christmas episode has been officially announced by 5.
Details about the special are thin on the ground at the moment, only that it will be "feature-length".
The show has an average score of 7.1 from fans on IMDb, with people calling it a light and breezy watch.

In a review titled "delightfully quirky", one fan wrote: "This is not serious drama certainly and the story is very predictable with occasional one liners that are classic British humor.
"It's lighthearted, enjoyable entertainment that doesn't require apt attention or puzzling over whodunnit. Good change of pace."
"This is as well written, filmed and acted as any formulaic detective series on TV these days... and in the hands of seasoned actors like these, better than some," wrote another, while a third said: "The mysteries are engaging enough, and there are some quite interesting twists, and there is plenty of humour mixed in along the way."
"Silly fun in a light entertainment format. Of course it's not meant to be taken seriously. Of course the actors are hamming it up," reads a fourth review. "It's still an entertaining little package best enjoyed with a nice glass of red French wine."
The Madame Blanc Mysteries airs on 5, and can also be streamed on Acorn TV and Netflix.
