Argentina hopes to stay undefeated when they face Peru on Monday, as Group A action continues at the 2025 CONMEBOL Copa America Femenina.
Argentina enters the fourth matchday leading the group thanks to a couple of solid wins. After outlasting a solid Uruguay side in their first match last Tuesday, the team managed to rally from an early deficit, getting second-half goals from Daiana Falfan and Aidana Cometti to come away with a 2-1 win.

Peru is well on its way to another group-stage exit. After losing to Chile, 3-0, on the second day of the tournament, the nation’s lone goal so far in the tournament was not near enough to compete with Ecuador last Tuesday, leading to a 3-1 loss. Peru was clean-sheeted again this past Friday, falling 1-0 to take them out of semifinal contention.
With back-to-back wins, Argentina has a two-point lead on Ecuador. If the Argentinian squad were to win, and the right result were to come in the Chile and Ecuador matchup, La Albiceleste would be back in the semifinal once again.
